Crew High School

Our church was birthed in 2015 out of a community based youth ministry founded as Student Venture by Campus Crusade for Christ in Minnetonka in 1976. We disciple students by putting them in real, live situations where they have to study, learn, apply, and teach others from Scripture. Much of our facilitation is done by youth and young adults as part of their learning to be disciple making followers of Jesus.

We are committed to discipling students to become passionate followers of Jesus Christ who seek to be impactful in our local public schools and beyond.

Our paid church staff are employed in our local public schools where we invest deeply with staff and students because we believe in developing impactful relationships beyond the walls of a church. We meet on Tuesday nights so students who have a local church youth group to attend can stay involved there too.

What to Expect

Here is a loose schedule that we follow most Tuesday nights:

6:00 Supper is served which is a great time to connect in community for fellowship. There is no charge for supper. Many students are coming straight from after school activities, so we provide a way for them to get some food without having to go out to eat or to have to hurry home first.

6:30 Interactive Time is designed to provide some loosely programmed time to connect around an activity or game.

7:00 Praise & Worship is a time for corporate praise & worship with music, scripture, prayer. We desire to see students become prayerfully dependent on God.

7:30 Discussion of Scripture Passage of the week. This time includes brief teaching times usually led by students, small group discussion times, and large group feedback times. We desire our students to know Scripture and to live it out in real life.

8:30 Organic Hang Out Time is a time to interact informally.

Doors remain open for fellowship and hanging out until 10:00.

Crew Unplugged

Some nights we have CREW unplugged and go off campus to do something in service or for fellowship. We have an Instagram account where updates are available.
