Building Disciples Fellowship
Because we believe that the people who do the talking do the learning, we meet around tables and discuss Scripture for much of our time together. Our church is made up mostly of youth and young adults. We are the church where students bring their parents to church. We meet on Sunday evenings around tables for food, fellowship, and meaningful discussions about the Bible and how to apply Scripture to our personal and professional lives. We believe that the people who do the talking do the learning.
What to Expect
Here is a loose schedule that we follow most Sunday nights:
5:30 Supper is served which is a great time to connect in community for fellowship. There is no charge for supper, and we do not take an offering. If you wish to donate to the ministry, please speak with Pastor John who can let you know your options for doing so.
6:30 Open Forum time is a time to ask questions about things you are pondering, to share about things you have been learning, to ask for prayer, or to share a testimony of God at work in your life.
7:00 Praise & Worship is a time for corporate praise & worship with music, scripture, prayer and communion the first Sunday of each month.
7:30 Discussion of Scripture Passage of the week. This time includes brief teaching times, small group discussion times, and large group feedback times.
8:30 Prayer Time with a Friend or at your Table is a time to share more personally what is going on in your life and to hear from others about where they are in their spiritual journey.
Doors remain open for fellowship and hanging out until 10:00.
